Kuota Kom

We just took in a Kuota Kom that is in excellent condition. Holding this frame in your hand gives you an immediate sense of the level of quality that Kuota puts into their bikes. The first thing you notice, it is light, I mean really light. But the design and attention to detail is beyond compare. Paul will be putting this up for sale soon… no time to ride this one. What a shame!

Here is a little bit of info on Kuota in case you did not know. Most people do not realize this but they are based out of Italy. They have some incredible carbon fibre technology and design capabilities. In 2006 Kuota began to utilize the result of a tremendous amount of research and material advancement; Carbon Nanotubes.

Carbon Nanotubes are structures that are microscopic in size but with a massive strength to size/weight ratio.
Nanotubes simply fill more of the spaces between individual long carbon fibers and between the layers themselves making a more solid structure.
