Uvex helmets and Vaude mountain gear and Magura available at GBC!

We recently became a dealer for Magura. They make some of the finest mountain bike forks and brakes available any where. I had the pleasure to ride the lift select Thor fork and it is nothing short of amazing. The fork alternates between 150 and 120mm of travel with the push of a button on the handlebar. This makes it really feasible to use the travel select feature. Push the button, the fork drops giving you better climbing geometry. Push it again at the top of the hill and you have longer travel for decent… really a huge improvement in mountain bike handling.

The brakes are also phenom, as far as I know the new MT8’s are probably the lightest mountain bike brakes you can get. The entire assembly is made of carbon composite to save weight. They are 310 grams per wheel including a 160 mm rotor. And they still have the power and modulation you expect from Magura, hard to beat that German engineering.

In addition to these great products we also picked up the UVEX helmets and Vaude gear Magura USA also represents. Initially, they look great. We are ordering helmets as soon as possible so we can check them out and I promise to post more info later. In the mean time, check out this great German gear on their website.
