Should I sell or list on Consignment?

Good question! Here are some pros and cons. Generally speaking, consignment is only an option for the very high end bikes where the used value is is in excess of 3 or $4,000.00. Goodbye Cycle prefers to buy your bike outright and simplify the process. This makes it easier for you and you get paid faster.

Many times we sell our bikes in pieces so a consignment arrangement is a little more complex since we do not have the option of returning the bike if it does not sell for a specified reserve. However this can be a real advantage since generally your bike is worth more as a sum of it’s parts than it would be as a complete unit.
